Colouring classes 2010

I ran my colouring for kids classes at The Sherbrooke Art Society in Belgrave for two terms. It was pitched at kids aged 10 - 14.

The first term was based on drawing. I designed a series of 8 workshops with creative and traditional techniques, collaboration, drawing faces, people and a breakdancer, making letters 3-D and some drawing games. Glenn Scolyer joined me teaching.

The second term I created an Art in Public Places course. We focussed on Belgrave to see what effect the environment had on behaviour. We discussed public art, looked at exampled, did some guerrilla gardening, and hung out with Tiffaney Bishop and the Scum Pups - who have been working on a magazine made by young people for young people in the Dandenong Ranges.
